Young India's Heroics In Australia

India has had a Worthy Comeback in the Border-Gavaskar Test Series against the Mighty Aussies in their own backyard, even after missing out on their most Dependable players like Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami.

The Test Series started in the worst possible note for India as they tumbled to 36-9 in the 1st Test in Adelaide after which many experts predicted a whitewash for the Indian Team.

But thanks to some blistering performances by the Youngsters and scintillating Captaincy by Ajinkya Rahane, India made a mouth watering comeback in the last 3 Tests to clinch the Series 2-1, retaining the Border-Gavaskar trophy and breaching the Gabba Fortress where Australia had never been defeated in the last 32 Years

The young guns of the Indian Team went out all guns blazing in Melbourne after an Inspired Century by the Stand--in Skipper Ajinkya Rahane resulting in a 8-Wicket win for the Men In Blue. The young inexperienced bowling line-up of India couldn't  do much better as they never allowed the Australian batting to settle down and were bundled out for less than 200 in both innings. The Melbourne win gave the much needed zeal to the Team and they could smell a Fairytale comeback in the Aussie Soil. Come in the Sydney Test when India gave away 90 odd runs lead to the home team facing a stiff target in the 4th Innings, but cometh the moment, cometh the men, Pant, Che Pujara, held the Indian Innings together while Ravi Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari's heroics as they batted out for around 4hrs facing some tough spells from the Kangaroos. Hanuma Vihari batted with a Grade-II Tear which resulted in him missing out on the 4th Test while Ashwin suffered some hard bodyline blows which kept him on the Sidelines for the 4th Test.
Nevertheless India batted out for the day denying the Aussies a win, which left the Australian Crowd and its players in a frenzy. The foul mouthed Kangaroos were unable to keep calm seeing the win slipping out of their hands, as they resorted to their age old tactics of sledging and poking resulting in absolutely nothing
The 4th Test was a real Test for the Team as by then 11 of the senior players were out of the Team owing to the fitness issues, while the team depended on the young brigade, they never failed to perform both in batting as well as bowling to win the match. Washington Sundar and Shardul thakur put up a brilliant partnership to deny Aussies a huge lead in the first innings, while Rishabh Pant deployed his flamboyance to win the match for India wich initially seemed an impossible chase.
